What a time to be a Philadelphia sports fan! The Eagles are 7-0, the Union are in the MLS Cup Finals, the Flyers are starting out strong, the 76ers are showing promise and the Phillies are in the World Series. The series against the Houston Astros is tied 1-1. Game 3 was supposed to take place yesterday, but the inclement weather that was in the city wouldn't allow the game to take place. Game 3 will take place on Tues Nov 1 at 8:00pm, Game 4 on Wed Nov 2 at 8:00pm, Game 5 on Thurs Nov 3 at 8:00pm (In another Philly/Houston show down, on the same evening as Game 5, the Eagles will take on the Texans. The Texans should be no problem for the Birds, even after a short week). If necessary, Game 6 will be on Sat Nov 5 at 8:00pm and Game 7 will be on Sun Nov 6 at 8:00pm. The excitement in the city is palpable. The fans flooded the streets with joy after the Phillies took home the National League Pennant. It's only going to get crazier and the light poles will get greasier if they're able to bring home all the bacon.
